Local MP Mary Macleod welcomed the Planning Minister, Nick Boles, to Brentford and Chiswick last Friday. Eager to meet with businesses and residents to discuss their experiences of planning within the community, Mary took the Minister on a short tour of Brentford and Chiswick.
Local MP Mary Macleod has welcomed new figures showing big falls in unemployment locally. Now just 2.5% of people in the Brentford and Isleworth constituency are claiming Job Seekers Allowance, and just 2.8% of young people.The figures are the first to be announced since the Aspire Jobs and Apprenticeships Fair, organised by Mary and West Thames College.

After Mary reached out to local business leaders earlier this year to support a struggling homework club, she received great news that the Rugby Football Union would like to donate £1000 towards the running costs!
