Councillor Gerald McGregor - Chiswick Homefields

Councillor Gerald McGregor - Chiswick Homefields

I grew up in Paddington, escaping from a bleak inner-city upbringing by passing the 11`+ and attending St Marylebone Grammar School (a school since destroyed by Shirley Williams). The teaching was so good that I got a place at Exeter University and studied Politics, Government and Geography.
Upon moving to Chiswick, I fell in love with the community - there is a real sense of living in a village yet also being part of the greatest city in the world. Since being elected to represent you in 2004, it has been a real privilege to serve as one of your three ward Councillors for Homefields on Hounslow Council.
I am particularly committed to Chiswick, by maintaining the character of this very special area that we live in and by continuing to provide assistance to residents with  the very many issues that affect their daily lives.

Patrick Barr, Conservative Candidate for Chiswick Homefields Ward

Councillor Patrick Barr - for Chiswick Homefields

I am a Registered General Nurse and currently work as a nurse in West London. Previously I was a Charge Nurse in A&E and I still work in A&E as required to support the NHS. As your councillor for Chiswick Homefields, I will narrow the communication gap between residents and the Council, campaign to get the Piccadilly Line to stop at Turnham Green sooner than has been proposed and will hold Hounslow Council to account with the resurfacing of roads and pavements. I will also campaign for more GP surgeries locally for a growing and ageing population and will be a strong advocate for the local community.

Sam Hern - Chiswick Riverside Councillor and Conservative Candidate

Councillor Sam Hearn - Chiswick Riverside

I have lived in the Chiswick Riverside Ward since 1988 and have represented its residents as a Councillor since 2008. I have ensured that the voice of local residents has been heard loud and clear on contentious issues such as CPZs and waste recycling. In addition I have successfully resolved a wide range of problems for individual residents. My experience as a qualified accountant and businessman has proved invaluable on a number of key council committees. I remain a Governor of the wonderful Strand on the Green Junior School that both my children attended.

Joanna Biddolph, Conservative Councillor Candidate for Turnham Green Ward

Councillor Joanna Biddolph - Turnham Green

I moved into Chiswick (to a flat on the Turnham Green ward side of Devonshire Road) in 1983 and currently live in the Gunnersbury Park Garden Estate conservation area in the north west corner of the ward. I spend my life reporting fly-tipping and overflowing bins, campaigning against speeding and rat runs and lobbying for improved street lighting, safer road junctions and better pedestrian crossings. I’m obsessed with our independent shops, cafés and restaurants, supporting them as much as is humanly possible; they are, for me, what makes Chiswick special.

Councillor Ron Mushiso - Turnham Green

Councillor Ron Mushiso - Turnham Green

I live in the borough on the other side of Chiswick roundabout. I spent my early teens in foster home here in Chiswick and returned to work locally some years later. As a fostered child, I understand the importance of social care and social services.
I bring a relentless work ethic and enthusiasm to my role as your Councillor so that I hit the ground running. In my current roles as a PE Teacher at a local school, Head Coach at Old Emanuel Rugby Club and as a former professional rugby player; a strong work ethic, energy and enthusiasm are my natural traits!
